Citizens activity at sport facilities in Jakarta is still quiet. Jakarta Dept. of Sport and Youth will create program to boost citizens’ sport activity.

I have visited the court, the condition is terrible

Jakarta Head Dept. of Sport and Youth, Firmansyah Wahid, said sport and youth agencies at five administration areas must be able to provide program that boost citizens’ interest doing sport activity.

According to him, many sport halls are empty from routine activity. Such as football court in Gongseng, East Jakarta. The court is only used by three or four football teams.

“I have visited the court, the condition is terrible,” he said, Thursday (4/14).

In previous years, he added, sport halls were always packed by citizens for doing sport activity such as basketball, badminton, and etc.

“Now we ask agencies at five administration areas must grow the activity well,” he closed.
